The intellectual property code

The main acts on copyright (act of 11 March 1957, act of 3 July 1985) were collated (“codified”) in 1992 in the intellectual property code, which currently includes all the legislation and regulations governing copyright: definition of protected works, who holds the rights, content of non-pecuniary and property rights, duration of protection, agreements, collective rights, operation of royalty collecting and distribution societies…

The intellectual property code can be viewed on the Légifrance website.

The articles of association and general rules

Adopted by the General Meeting, the articles establish the objects and determine the operating rules of Adagp.

They are supplemented by the general rules, which determine the membership and royalty management rules in particular.
